in North Florida. It hasn’t been bad here and everyone’s stayed home, for the most part. Very few cases and deaths. Every state and county should decide how much closure is needed locally. Flattening the curve never showed fewer cases, just more spread out to avoid overwhelming our health system. Keep the elderly and other high-risk folks home. Let others rebuild our economy. Our country’s strength and future depends on us getting back to work. Not everyone at once, but a gradual reopening, which is exactly what’s starting to happen. The self-righteous always want to force their situation and their perception on others. It’s very tiresome to hear the media and social-media shame (or worse) anyone whose situation is different. I’m not talking about you NW, but the general national narrative that slams anyone or any community that doesn’t follow the narrative they want.
